Sarah Steiber

This week's artist of the week is Sarah Steiber. We are studying her and her works because she is a young, female, local artist. She calls her style of art "electric realism." Essentially, she uses a source photograph, and paints it using bright, vibrant, and electric colors. I like her work because for the most part it is the opposite of my own. I tend to focus on black and white photography due to my color blindness, so I appreciate seeing what can be done with color.
