Rainy Road

Rainy Road. December, 2018. Photo: Juan Munoz.

Everybody is aware that we need water to survive. However, water also serves to beautify our world. It washes the dust and grime off our city, and off our streets. Here we can see a normal road. However, much of it's color has come to life due to the rain. You can see the vibrant yellow paint again, and the light is happy to glisten and dance around on the wet surface. Just a little water from the rain can make something as simple as a street seem beautiful. When thinking about water conservation, we should acknowledge that not only will losing our water make it harder to survive, but that we will no longer reap the benefits of it's beauty.
