This week, the artist of the week is Ai WeiWei. He is very well known for his strangely sculpted pieces of art. This work of his is a stadium in China. He is also known because of his dealings with the Chinese government. After he was vocal about his disagreements with the government, thugs were sent to beat him up. There is a famous image showcasing the scar on his head from the beating.
